Review by hotel critic
As a history teacher from Shanghai with a passion for exploring cultures through their cuisine, my recent stay at the Belvedere offered a mixed dining experience that I believe is worth sharing. The ambiance at the hotel's restaurant was quite pleasant, and it provided a wonderful space to unwind at the end of the day. I enjoyed a refreshing drink at the bar/lounge, which was lively yet laid-back. I ventured out for a truly remarkable meal at Michele la Cremeria in San Leucio, about a 20-minute walk from the hotel. It was a delightful experience, with beautiful local flavors crafted by welcoming hosts. While the breakfast at the hotel could have been fresher-packaged pastries don't quite hit the mark-I appreciated the outdoor pool setting for enjoying snacks in the café. The Belvedere has potential, especially for food enthusiasts wanting to connect with the local gastronomic scene.
